The French Language

French is spoken by about 300 million people worldwide. It is a Romance language descendant from the Latin Language of the Roman Empire and is the official language in 29 countries. It is the official language of all United Nations agencies as well a large number of International Organizations and the third most spoken language in the European Union after English and German. Historically, French functioned as the preeminent language of diplomacy among European powers as well as the educated classes of Europe prior to the mid 20th century.

The Challenge

Teaching French is a challenge we take with complete success - our emphasis on efficiently teaching French is enhanced by an all Native Language Academic Teaching Staff. Our curriculum is one of methodology as well as communicative tasks, which stimulates, provokes and perpetuates the young learner's need to succeed and feel confident in an French speaking environment. Great care and sensitivity to the individual needs of the learner is warranted by the teacher with whom contact is made and supported by a day-to-day study program. We believe the more one is confronted with French, the more confidence one achieves in applying the language to the real world.
