The Italian Language

The Italian language is spoken by about 130 million people worldwide. In some countries such as Switzerland it is one of the four official languages. It is of course a Romance Language that is first and foremost directly influenced heavily by Latin, the language of ancient Rome. Italian is widely taught in many schools around the world and is the fifth most taught foreign language in the world.

The Challenge

The teaching of Italian is a challenge we take with complete success - our emphasis on efficiently teaching Italian is enhanced by an all Native Language Academic Teaching Staff. Our curriculum is one of methodology as well as communicative tasks, which stimulates, provokes and perpetuates the young learner's need to succeed and feel confident in an Italian speaking environment. Great care and sensitivity to the individual needs of the learner is warranted by the teacher with whom contact is made and supported by a day-to-day study program. We believe the more one is confronted with Italian, the more confidence one achieves in applying and using the language in the real world.
