Really an amazing video. But I am wondering if Da Vinci draw the painting considering the fact that he had to draw it in a way so that those geometrical shapes could be created after such analysis. What I want to say is that his imagination created them or ours ?

I suspect there is a lot of geometry in most paintings - however Da Vinci being so passionately focused in his work that perfection would most likely have been implemented in all his work.

Well, perfection is a rather common element for painters in the level and prestige of Da Vinci, but I partly agree with Chris who supports that those geometrical shapes are a creation of our imagination. That could be true... because after all we have heard a lot of rumours for the Mona Lisa: that it can be Da Vinci dressed like a woman, or a treasure map... Your guess is as good as mine!!!
