Dear Candidate,

In a few days, you will be sitting for the written section of the University of Michigan English Language Institute’s May 2010 examinations.
Here are things to keep in mind before you take the test:

• Check the document you have received from the Hellenic American Union. At the top you’ll find your examination schedule; the bottom part is your receipt. Is the test mentioned (ECCE or ECPE) the one you intend to sit for? If not, immediately contact the Hellenic American Union Examinations Department Tel: 210 3680000

• Check the spelling of your name and father's name on the same document. Don't worry about any discrepancies. You will have the opportunity to ask for corrections when you take the speaking test.

• On the day of the exam, make sure that you are at the Test Center at least 30 minutes before the beginning of the test. Make sure you have proof of identification, the document mentioned above, a watch or clock, a pencil, a sharpener, and an eraser.

• You may also want to visit our webpages at http://www.hau.gr/exams. Under the section "Taking the Test" you will find lots of useful tips and information.

Your participation in the exams is a significant achievement on its own as this is the time to put to the test everything you have learned until now. At the same time, the examinations are a unique learning experience which we hope that you will find useful later in your life. So, regardless of the outcome, your efforts will have not been in vain.

We wish you the best and are looking forward to seeing you among our candidates.
