At ALC we place the utmost importance in the protection of personal data and wish to inform you of the personal data we collect, process and use, the purposes and the way we do so when using our educational services, looking for information on our website, contacting us through our website or through emails or using the learning platforms.

We also collect information from those who work with us and job seekers submitting a resume.

We collect simple personal data, such as your full name, address and general contact information (including email and telephone number), nationality, date of birth, that is necessary for identifying you, so we can communicate with you, answer any of your requests, and especially to provide our educational services.

(A) You can visit our website and use the services we offer online and without registration, where you do not need an individual password, purely for your information, without having to provide personal information. (C) If you are enrolled in one of our courses, you must register/purchase a course to indicate the various elements that are necessary for your attending the course/class and for us to fulfill our obligations to you resulting from your application.

The disclosure of additional data is at your own discretion.

We collect and use personal data to offer our educational services.

We use your information for the following purposes: To enroll and integrate our students into an online classroom, to support student education and participation in our educational courses, information for you, creating and maintaining a student’s record, offering students a high standard of educational services, issuing assignments, your access via email and a personal code on the online classroom platform (from where you have access to all your online material and fellow students and teacher, via typed conversation or live audio video conferencing), and generally your information and participation in all our educational activities, even if they are not explicitly mentioned here and serve those purposes. We also monitor and respond to your incoming requests (support, email, conversations or phone calls), letting us know about potential problems in our services, where we will respond to help solve your issue.

We also use your information to send you information about our educational and/or other related services and events, to provide you with information about the content and venue of seminars or events, with relevance to your course.

In the case of collecting and processing personal data where the subject’s consent is required, this will be done through a specific Consent Form in which the consent will be recorded and proved.

The processing of the data is done in electronic media and is registered in the corporate system in accordance with the applicable legislation, including the provisions regarding the security and confidentiality of the data.

These Data are not subject to further processing in a way incompatible with the above purposes.

The data will be stored for as long as necessary to meet the targets for which it was collected. We may store your data even after the end of our activities with you but only for as long as it is necessary to fulfill contractual and legal obligations, but also to fulfill the purposes outlined above.

The categories of data about our students that we collect, keep and process include:

  • Personal details and contact details (e.g. e-mail, name, phone number, date of birth)

  • Information about instances (e.g. attendance at courses, briefing in case of absence, number of absences)
  • Evaluation results (e.g., tests, evaluation and participation in the course)
  • Information given by the student to the corresponding course material publishers, including access to their LMS (Learning Management System) or to Microsoft to access their Office 365 and OneDrive account.

Third-party service providers / Recipients of personal data

We pass on your information to third parties / partners solely for the purposes stated in this statement. Indicatively, IT service providers, tax and management companies, printing companies, courier companies, security system companies, public tax and insurance authorities, technical consultant, and always with the applicable legislation.

For tax purposes regarding the payment of the service provided by us and the issue of the relevant tax document / document, we transmit the personal data absolutely necessary for your transaction and transaction to affiliated accountants / accountants – tax offices, as well as credit / debit card providers to process your payment using cards.

The electronic platform we use has limited accessibility (through a personal user code), created by Microsoft, and is based on the security and dynamics provided by Microsoft through the 365 platform, which has all the required security certificates for its compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

Data is processed and managed by trained personnel and stored in a secure Microsoft Data Center.

All our affiliates / recipients provide guarantees of compliance with the Privacy Policy.

Your rights

You have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
